Dubravko Filipovic is a full professor at the University of Zagreb Faculty of Agriculture and head of Agricultural Engineering Department since 2015. He has published over a hundred scientific papers in national and international scientific journals and conference proceedings, many expert papers in popular journals promoting the agricultural profession, four university textbooks, and one professional book in the area of agricultural engineering. In the 1990’s he was the president of the Croatian Agricultural Engineering Society. He is a member of the organizing committee of the international symposium “Actual tasks of agricultural mechanization” for more than thirty years and a member of the editorial board of several international journals. Four times he was a chief editor of symposium proceedings. As a member of the technical committee TC23, he participated in the adoption of Croatian standards in the field of tractors and machinery for agriculture and forestry. He is a member of several international associations in the field of agricultural engineering like CIGR (International Commission of Agricultural and Biosystems Engineering), EurAgEng (European Society of Agricultural Engineers), and AAAE (Asian Association for Agricultural Engineering). He was also served as an OCM for first edition of Agri-2020 conference.
